Can Seattle Save the World Event in bigger venue

Dear All — Due to huge demand, KPLU moved the April 26 event, “Can Seattle Save the World” (poverty, health, chocolate), to the Great Hall (upstairs) at Town Hall and is reselling tickets. This is a lively panel discussion with smallpox eradicator Bill Foege, PATH President Chris Elias, health activist Wendy Johnson, and Theo Chocolate’s Joe Whinney. The discussion will be moderated by KPLU Humanosphere journalist Tom Paulson, and is co-presented by CityClub.
Here’s the link for tickets: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/160091
Paulson has written a bit more about the panel and the idea behind it.
General Admission tickets are $7 advance, and are available through Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets are $10 day of show, at the door.
Please enter on the 8th Avenue side. If you have any questions, please call KPLU Listener Services at 1-800-677-5758 or e-mail info.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
Cheers, Brenda Goldstein-Young KPLU Promotion Director
