Please Join the Seattle Chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) for our November Global Health Event

Speaker:
Susan Cassels, PhD MPH
Assistant Professor, Epidemiology & Global Health
University of Washington

Title: Measuring Migration and HIV Risk: Challenges and Network Approaches

Dr. Cassels’ research interests are in the areas of mathematical modeling, social network analysis,
and infectious disease epidemiology, specifically HIV and other sexually
transmitted diseases. Her current research is focused on human mobility and its affects on
sexual network structure and HIV transmission in Ghana.

Come hear Dr. Cassels give an energetic talk about her work on the dynamics of HIV transmission and network with other Seattle area women!
