EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR THE MARTIN ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP (MAS) – FRIDAY, APRIL 12, 2013, 11:30PM
Please encourage current first year community college students to apply for the Martin Achievement Scholarship – Deadline, Friday, April 12 2013. The MAS provide them with $5000 during their second year at the community college, which will increase to $10,000 for a max of 3 years when they transfer to the UW-Seattle for their junior year.
- Be currently enrolled students at Bellevue, Cascadia, Edmonds , Everett , Grays Harbor, Green River, Highline, North Seattle, Olympic, Peninsula, Pierce, Seattle Central, Shoreline, South Seattle or Tacoma Community College pursuing their first baccalaureate degree
- Have earned a minimum of 15 community college transfer credits
- Have demonstrated signs of exceptional ability in science, humanities, music, art, and/or leadership.
- Applicants for the 2013 Martin Achievement should not plan to transfer to the UW-Seattle prior to the summer 2014.
