Overview
Program Focus: prepares professionals who work to support the well-being of individuals, groups, and communities, and who plan to work towards social change and social justice throughout their careers.
Possible Careers: case manager, advocate, grant writer, youth worker, family support specialist, volunteer coordinator, human resource specialist, fundraiser, trainer, paraeducator, advocacy specialist for people dealing with child abuse, domestic violence, homelessness, or other social issues
Application Information & Deadline: There are 2 parts to applying: 1) complete Western’s Transfer Extension Program application (application deadline is March 1st) and 2) complete the Human Services Program application (the priority application deadline for the Human Services application is April 1st). The program in Everett only admits students in Fall quarter.
