This fall our top campaign is to stop the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms!

Here in Seattle we’re working with WASHPIRG on a campaign to protect public health. Antibiotics are critical to treating infections in humans like pneumonia and strep throat. But the daily use of antibiotics on healthy animals threatens their effectiveness for all of us.

So WASHPIRG is calling on the Obama Administration to stop the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms. We know the President is considering the problem this year, but factory farms are fighting to keep things as they are. We need to act now to protect public health, and that’s where you play a crucial role!

In order to protect public health and win this campaign we are hiring students full-time and part-time across Seattle to get out into communities, and build support for this issue. Over the course of just one month you can expect to make between $1,100-$1,600 and make $11-$16/HR. It’s a great way to build your resume, like an internship, but you get paid.
