We are looking for a student interested in in communications, marketing, and administrative positions in healthcare. The project will provide an opportunity for the student to run a patient engagement initiative in a community health primary care clinic. Below is the description of the project. The position is open to students working towardsmasters or bachelors degrees and is unpaid.
Student Project or Practicum Project: Care4U: a text messaging program to help individuals with diabetes manage their care
§ We are looking for a student to assist with piloting a text messaging program for our diabetic patients. The project will involve creating text messages on topics related to diabetes management, developing a recruitment plan for enrolling patients, managing the program logistics, and evaluating the pilot.
§ Anticipated project length–between 6-12 months with average 4-8 hours/week.
§ Requires onsite time at both Greenwood and Meridian sites with some distance-based work also possible.
