Th May 26: class of 2016 video
This Thurs., May 26, the college is filming a video in which we want to get as many students as possible to come by and hold up a sign that says where they’re going after Shoreline, whether it be the UW or another university, to work, on an epic road trip – whatever. Just basically what their plans are next.
This could be – transfer to the UW/Cornell/another college, joining the circus or the peace corps, heading to an job, or doing something else.
We’re filming in the PUB courtyard this Thurs., May 26 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. No appointment required. Look for the people with the camera – we’ll probably be fairly close to the front of the PUB but I can’t say 100% as there are activities in the courtyard that day – but we will have a camera on a tripod and we will have a sign that indicates we’re filming for commencement, so we should be identifiable. We’ll have pre–made signs with some universities represented on them already, and will have additional materials with which people can make a sign that says whatever they want – so you don’t have to bring anything, just yourself. We’ll provide the signs. Filming (once their sign is made) will take less than a minute. This is all about the visual, so you don’t have to say a single word if they don’t want to – just hold up a sign.
Thank you for any help you can give in spreading the word to students you know of who are graduating. We want as many as possible to participate, so please spread the word.
And please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
