Summer Health Professions Education Program

The University of Washington Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Public Health are hosting the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP). This program, formerly known as SMDEP, is a free 6 week residential program for underrepresented and disadvantaged freshman and sophomore college students interested in health professions. The application deadline is March 1 and the program is now open to DACA students. In addition to room and board, students are provided a $600 stipend, and travel is paid for up to $500.
