October is National Audiology Awareness Month!

More than 360 million people worldwide have a disabling hearing loss. The American Academy of Audiology is dedicated to advancing the profession through increasing public awareness of audiology and the importance of hearing protection. The Academy website is rich with tools and resources to guide consumers, professionals and students in an effort to promote National Audiology Awareness Month and National Protect Your Hearing Month.
