Pre-dental students: UW Dive Into Dentistry Day July 19th 2014

Future Dentists, THIS JUST IN: Dean Berg will be speaking at this year’s Dive into Dentistry Day (DIDD) in just over one month! DIDD 2014 will be held at the University of Washington School of Dentistry (UWSOD) on Saturday, July 19th, 2014!

Please visit our website for all of the details and to register: https://sites.google.com/site/diveintodentistry/contact

Students who attend this event will get to experience the life of a dental student with hands-on dental activities (cutting cavity preps, filling cavities, practicing sutures, taking impressions, etc.), insider information about the dental school admissions process, mock interview sessions, and much more! Current dental students and faculty will be on hand to network with and introduce pre-dental students to the UWSOD.

Having attended the inaugural DIDD in 2011, this program was essential in planning my undergraduate education and community service experience. It also helped me be confident in my interview that brought me here as a dental student at UWSOD. As the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) Vice President of UW, I am passionate about DIDD as I know it will introduce students to the dental school application process and day to day life of a dental student, provide them with new friends and connections, and motivate them to reach their goal of joining the dental profession.

Thank you and looking forward to meeting all of you all! Please support this event and like us on facebook at eayepez
