The University’s MCAT Preparation Workshop is conducted by faculty members and testing experts in the sciences and social sciences who teach material specifically tailored for the MCAT. All instructors focus on helping students perform to their best abilities on the MCAT.

Mission Fit—Applying to the Right Medical Schools for You

Completing the application process for medical school can be a daunting task.

One of the many decisions you will have to make is to which schools you will send your application.

You are invited to participate in a free live online session where Directors of Admissions from different medical schools will describe their school’s mission and how they evaluate applicants for “mission fit.”

AAMC experts will also share information about resources for learning about the missions and requirements for different medical schools.

Director of Medical Education at the Office of the Surgeon General of US Army to visit UW March 10

This is open to everyone; CC students are encouraged to attend.

COL Cathy Nace, MD is the Director of Medical Education at the Office of the Surgeon General of the US Army in Falls Church,Virginia. She will be speaking with UW pre-med students on Tuesday, March 10th at 4:30 PM. Location: Gould 322.

Her focus will be Army Medicine, Army GME/Residency Programs, Leadership, & HPSP
